Occupational health of workers (Prep4Chance)
Our Cause
Prep4Change is a project in which we work on urgent health risks, including stress caused by climate change, experienced by workers in the agricultural and maquila sector in Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. This is a project focused on preventing and remediating illness and injury in the workplace. The objectives of the project are to increase the utilization of existing social protection systems by affected workers and families; increase the preparedness of employees, unions and government institutions for future pandemics, illnesses, injuries and address workers' needs for dignified and safe work. This project is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of International Labor Affairs (USDOL).
Nuestra Objetivo
Mejorar la calidad educativa de 350,757 niños, niñas y adolescentes en sus prácticas en el cuidado del planeta reforzando las habilidades y competencias de los profesores. Gracias al apoyo financiero de Gildan Honduras operamos en el departamento de Cortés.
